CONGO
Located in the heart of Africa and reputed to be its lung, the Democratic Republic of Congo has the second largest forest in the world after the Amazonia in Brazil.
The Congo's fertile lands and mineral resources make this country one of the richest in the world, potentially.
The Congo has always been a victim of its resources. Bruised by decades of conflicts that resulted into humanitarian and health crises, the Congo is torn between resilience, hopes and joie de vivre on a daily basis.
This is my photographic narrative of this country- a land with modesty and humanity.
